Description
Bricks and Mortarboards tells the story of Brenden, an aspiring youth from the Sydney seaside suburb of Manly, who persevered with his studies and graduated from four universities.
While at the University of Oxford, he was inspired to provide the same unique experience of Socratic learning to overseas students. Together with his mother, Ethyl, he pioneered and educational concept in 1973 which would become Warnborough College.
Today, Warnborough is worldwide and flourishing, thanks to the students, faculty, staff and friends who have contributed to its expanding vision.
This book is the story of how a vision, coupled with hard work and determination, can change many lives.
